ORB Ghost creates a ‘Ghost-like’ effect also known as an invisible Mannequin. The model is specifically designed to be as invisible as possible as it has more detachable parts than a regular model. This style of imagery allows the buyers and customers to get the clearest view of a piece.

Designers are looking for new ways to visually advance the look and feel of collections. Augmented means that the background of 360° looks can be manipulated or changed with still or moving imagery. These added visuals enhance 360° images by elevating the model or accessory looks.

Ghost mannequins go through the same process as a live model in the ORB360 Unit: the mannequin is dressed and styled, mannequin shots and reference images are taken and the images are sent to our retouchers to remove the visible parts of the mannequin.

A traditional way of showcasing a look is created by using Mannequins. They allow the designer to show an item of clothing with the shape of someone wearing it but without the cost restrictions of hiring a model. The shapely view of the product makes this imagery an industry favourite.

The ORB360 unit is able to capture larger items such as voluminous skirts, ballgowns, and couture items by placing models on a larger rotating disc in the machine. This new improved feature allows for more dynamic imagery than ever before catering for all shapes and sizes.

Once all 360° images are uploaded to the DAM content management system, the ORDRE production team can seamlessly change the background colour with any look as desired. This allows designers to experiment with tones that may not be physically available at the time of shooting.

ORB360 Video showcases the model in motion with up to 50 videos per shoot day. The model can either move freely inside the ORB360˚ Unit and/or be captured stationary as the pedestal inside the ORB360˚ moves a full 360˚.

This is a 360 degree view of a model physically walking on a runway. It showcases movement, drape and profile of the entire look. Backgrounds can be removed, manipulated and superimposed to the clients liking.

When a designer needs a certain creative treatment or retouching effect, particularly when samples are late or not finalised, ORB Retouch works cohesively with the designer to guarantee satisfaction with each look as needed.
